Today (6 June 2025), Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, spoke about the discussion with Gen. Tea Sayha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Cambodia, saying that on 5 June, there was a discussion to avoid violence with caution. This was the first time they met in person, and the framework of the discussion was how we would resolve the incident that had occurred because the Thai government confirmed that it did not want to see war, and we were not worried if a battle broke out. However, what happened would be a loss that we did not want to reach that point. And with the relationship that we have, we should be able to talk about it.
